Good Luck Darragh - Cobh man playing in Harty Cup Final 2015-02-17 12:14:00

Cobh GAA Club would like to wish Darragh Kelleher the very best of luck in the upcoming Dr. Harty Cup Final with St. Francis College Rochestown. The Harty Cup is the Senior schools hurling competition in Munster and the winners will go on to represent Munster in the All Ireland competing for the Dr. Croke Cup. Darragh lined out at half-back as Roco beat last years winners Ard Scoil Rís of Limerick in the semi final by a scoreline of 4-11 to 1-17. They now go on to face Thurles CBS who have 7 titles while Roco are bidding to win their first.

Having already won the O'Callaghan Cup, the Senior A Schools Hurling Championship in Cork, Rochestown are on for the quadruple as they also have the finals of the Simcox Cup and the Corn Uí Mhuirí to contest, these are the Cork and Munster Senior Football Competitions. Darragh lined out at half-back for the footballers in the recent Corn Uí Mhuirí semi final against St. Brendan's College of Killarney who have won the competition a staggering 20 times. They will now face Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne who have won the competition for the last 3 years.
