The U14s played their first football league match of the year at home to Aghabullogue. The Cobh team started the game with thirteen players up to the age and they had quite a competitive first half with the score showing 1-03 to 1-05 to Aghabullogue at the interval. However the second half scoring was dominated by the Aghabullogue with home side playing into a strong wind. While playing competitive football for the whole 60 minutes the Cobh lads found it difficult to score due to the tough weather conditions. Well done to all of the team for a good effort.
