U14 and U16 Medal Presentations
Medal Presentations: On Thursday, the 3rd of December, the U14 and U16 hurling teams were presented with their league medals during a reception at the club pavilion. Juvenile chairman, Willie O’Donovan, congratulated the boys on their achievements on the hurling pitch during 2009 and wished them well with their endeavours next year. Club Chairman, Bill Brannigan, presented the medals and he echoed Willie’s sentiments while also congratulating all involved with juveniles in the club on a very successful year. Team managers, Brian McSweeney and Colm Damery, thanked the boys for their efforts and made a special point of thanking all the parents who attended for the support they have given to the lads down through the years. Well done, and thank you, to all who received a medal on the night and to all who have helped them along the way.
