Club Charter / Code of Conduct

ROLL OF THE CLUB

The primary roll of the club is to ensure that the players are encouraged to learn and play the game of hurling and football in a safe and friendly environment. All players are encouraged to make friends and have fun. Membership of the club is open to everyone.

GENERAL

Mutual respect, courtesy and honesty are required of everyone in the club.
All players must be registered as members of the club on an annual basis
Players must show respect for their teammates coaches, club officials, parents and visitors
Players must respect club property and should regard have for their own and the property of others
Misbehavior and bad language is not accepted
Bullying of any kind will not be tolerated
Players act as ambassadors for the club and should behave accordingly on all occasions especially on away trips
Discrimination of any type by officials or players is not accepted

PLAYING CODE
Players must at all times by the rules of hurling and football
The reasons for playing are to improve your skill, enjoy yourself and have fun
Players must practice self disipline, respect opponents and never argue with the decision of the referee
Be committed and fair-play the ball at all time 
After the match, shake hands with your opponent, thank the referee, compliment teammates and your coach
All players are to wear white shorts and green and gold socks for official matches.All players must wear helmets during all hurling training and matches.
